Abstract :
This research intends to show that during the creation of the political power, the sport is used in international relations because of its mass effect and its acceptance and moreover this research aims to demonstrate that the sport accepts diplomacy anddiplomacy also accepts the sport. The universe of the research consists of 60 members of parliament who are members of commission of the Grand National Assembly of Turkey, 65 Presidents of the Federation and General Secretaries in autonomous status, approximately 100 instructors who are officers in the Department of International Relations of the Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences of the universities and 50 teaching staff who are officers in the Department of Physical Training and Sport College, Department of Management Science. 57 members of parliament, 32 presidents of the federation and general secretaries of the federation and 51 instructors of these; in total 140 persons form the sample of the research. As data collection tool, “Survey of International Relations and the Sports Interaction” is used. For data analysis, SPSS 15.0 packet programme was used (t-test, Anova, Tukey). In the result of analysis data; there were not found any significant differences in the international relations and in the sports interaction according to the seniority, the age and the educational status of the persons who were participate in the study, but there were found differences in the international relations and in the sports interaction according to the sex and the title of them.
