Abstract :
One of the biggest features that separate mankind from other living beings is to transfer their accumulation and knowledge to newer generations through education and training. In times of The Information age which we live, as results of rapid increase of knowledge, increase in ways of communication and prevalence of technology, societies continuously alter and improve their education programs as a result of their need to improve certain features in humans. In 2006-2007 educational years, the Ministry of Education, out of this need, applies the educational program for Elementary Physical Education (1.-8. Grades) based on Constructive Approach. The aim of this research is to evaluate opinions of physical education teachers and to evaluate the feasibility of physical education program that is based on Constructive approach. 133 physical education teachers consisted of the study group of this research. Data is collected through “Physical Education Program Evaluation Poll”. The data has been expressed visually through SPSS 11. Pack Program. Consequently, it is found out those physical education teachers who come out of behaviorist educational system can not adapt to physical education programs which is made through Constructive Approach. Also, the teachers express that due to inconveniency of class populations, lesson timing, tools and equipments and inadequacy of certain establishments, they can not put this program into practice.
