Abstract :
The purpose of this study is to identify the institutional images of higher education institutions that sports teaching as views by students. The study is a descriptive one. The data was collected via a scale developed by Cankurtaran and Özbek (2013) (1). The population of the study included a university’s Faculty of Sport Sciences (SBF) and a university s School of Physical Education and Sport (SPES). The survey instrument was administered to 207 students of the Faculty of Sport Sciences and to 163 students of SPES, 370 students in total. Data on sex were analyzed by unpaired t-test, and data on class and school status by one-way analysis of variance. LSD Tests were applied in the posthoc analysis to identify the sources of significant differences. According to the findings, it is concluded that the institutional image differs by gender and grade. As a result of research, according to students in the perceived institutional image of sport education institutions has been found to be moderate level.
