QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATIONAL SITUATIONS OF DIRECTORS DUTIES IN SPORTING CLUBS

The purpose of this study isto investigate the managersworking in amateur sports clubs in Elazığ in terms of their educational attainments and competences”. The study was carried out with 166 sport administrators working in 61 sport clubs affiliated to Elazig Amateur Sports Clubs Federation. The data obtained from the survey are analysed with tests using variance for multiple groups (Anova), t-test for two groups, one-way analysis of, arithmetic mean, percentage, frequencyand results are shown in the tables. According to the sports branchvariable; there is a significant difference in the opinions of managers in athletics, swimming, tennis sportsin all sub-dimensions of the scale compared to others (p 0.05). Consequently; the more the duration of work and educational attainments of sport managers increase, the more successful in planning, decision making, communication and use of technology. Besides, being former athletes has positive contributions on their management skills.
