CORPORATE SUSTAINABILITY IN SPORTS and ERP SYSTEM (EXAMPLE OF FENERBAHÇE SPORTS CLUB)

The purpose of this research is to investigate sustainability in sport and whether ERP(Enterprise Resource Planning) system can be applied in sports.In this end, a literature review has been conducted and Fenerbahçe Sports Club has been selected as a case to be investigated, being the first sport club to utilize ERP in Turkey. Institutional sustainability policies of Fenerbahçe Sports Club and its ERP system have been examined. In conclusion, it has been observed that the application of institutional sustainability and ERP ensure decreased expenditure, increased efficiency, generation and execution of data from one point, safe and flexible decision making mechanism for managers and added value.
