Abstract :
A new war erupted in 1939 due to the fact of polarization and of not being able to establish a balance. The disaccords and conflicts that began between the Axis powers and the Allies, expanded from Europe to the Pacific, launching an era of war which lasted up until 1945. Famine in Greece due to lack of food after the Italian occupation of 1940 and the German occupation of 1941. In order to prevent famine the Turkish Relief Scheme which had been prepared by England, food and medicine supplies were transported to Greece by SS Kurtulus and SS Dumlupinar in 1941-1942. The positive relations between Turkey and Greece which began theoretically in 1930s, gained practice with these reliefs and during the Second World War the relations between the two countries reached To their zenith point through the humanitarian reliefs of Turkey.
