Abstract :
The Turkish Grand National Assembly approved the Law of Unification of Education which is an important section of the Turkish Revolution on 3 March 1924. The Law of Unification of Education took all the schools in Turkey under the control of the Ministry of National Education. According to the forth clause of the law, the school of theology and imam-hatip schools were opened but they were closed in a very short period of time. The schools weren’t closed through any law or legal arrangement. The existence of the forth clause of the Law Unification of Education continued.
