  • Abstract
During years of war of independence, Greek invasion brought the massacre against muslims especially in Eastern Anatolia. The established investigation committee and the prepared report didn t produce positive results in terms of Turkey. As the decisions made by Ankara government against Greeks and and Armenians for security triggered the opposing propaganda in the east, this situation led to the opinion among eastern capitals that an investigation commitee had to be established in Turkey. Because Ankara government saw that earlier established investigation commitee among allies didn t give positives results, it rejected the establishment of a commitee for it would have been an interference with Turkey’s internal affairs.
