A Psychological Campaign of Britain During the First World War : ForgedCopies of Tanin

Turkish army at the Palestine front engaged into the one of the most importantcampaigns of the First World War. During the long-long lasting fighting with theBritain not only in the front line but also in the hinterland witnessed severalactivities which had certain consequences on the war. In one of these hinterlandactivities, Britain had published and distributed forged Tanin newspaper within theTurkish army Turkish army officials got hold of these forged Tanin newspaper and sent themto Istanbul. The task of publicizing this act of Britain was assumed by forged Taninnewspaper itself.
