Abstract :
The paleopathology is a discipline that studies of macroscopic and microscopic have done in the skeletons. The aim of this study is to determine paleopathologic lesions which impressed to bone which is found in people of the medieval, who lived in Minnetpınarı; how common these lesions were among the population; how much they affected the health of the society and to compare this population with the other old Anatolia communities. The 86 individuals which were unearthed from the excavations between 2003-2004 were investigated in terms of paleopathology. The studies of macroscopic and radiologic have been done in the skeletons Minnetpınarı and the percentage and dispersion pattern of existent paleopathologic lesions have been calculated in the population. Those paleopathology lesions that were established in the population of Minnetpınarı that consist of males usually : trauma, an instinctive anomaly that spina bifida, anemia of constinuations porotic hyperostosis and cribra orbitalia, in the vertebrae of dejenetaive articulation disease of constinuations osteofit and schmorl noduls; three types of infections that osteomyelit, periostitis and non-specific infections; osteoarthritis finally. Consequently, the people composing the community of Minnetpınarı were relatively introverted and heterogeneous, lived under low saocieconomic conditions, occupied ranch and seldom experienced violence
