Abstract :
This investigation is basically concern about to determine the consumer’s expectations from office furniture, problems about chairs and their buying behaviours. For this purpose, the questionnaire is realized by face to face with 414 adult persons who the 256 males and 158 females and their ages change from 18 to 65. The persons have been chosen among from who have buying intents of new furniture or have already bought and also the demographic structures of consumers have been determined. The most of consumers have average incomes and they are between 25 and 40 ages. They generally don’t care about ergonomics or functionality, but prices. Despite of the fact that, the most of consumers complain about the problems which come from ergonomic design faults. Results of this investigation show that the office furniture designs don’t meet the ergonomic requirements in market now and these facts are ignored by consumer.
