  • Abstract
The research was conducted to determine the effects of different soil moisture contents (Ifull irrigation-S , I : 88%100:1 88of full irrigation-S , I : 76% of full irrigation- S , I : 64% of full irrigation-Sand I : 52% of full irrigation-wilting2 763 644 52point-S ) and seed priming ((hidropriming, 30 and 60 ppm GA ) on germination and seedling growing. The species of5 3Soyer-2002 bread wheat and Çıldır-2002 barley was used as cultivars. Generally, effect on examined characteristicsof GAwere positived, and it was decreased to beginning germination periods, germination periods 50% and averagegermination periods, and increased to seedling height and germination index in both species. Research results in 30 ppmGA treatment were higher than 60 ppm GA . While the highest results in wheat was determined in S and S moisture3 3 2 3contents, the highest results in barley was obtained from S moisture content.
