Abstract
Sialolithiasis is the most common disease of salivary glands. It is characterised by the obstruction of salivary extractory duct due to the formation of sialoliths resulting dilation and painful swelling in glands. The present study reports the case of a 53-year-old woman patient complaining swelling and pain in the left parotid area of her face continuing for a week. Once the patient was radiological diagnosed, the sialolith was surgically removed and histopathologically introduced.
