Review of Journal “Medical Archives” in 2012

Exactly twenty years ago I have “encouraged” myself, under impossible conditions of war (without electricity, water, food, printing materials, etc.), to “revive” the oldest biomedical journal in Bosnia and Herzegovina and one of the oldest in South-Eastern Europe, whose indexation in PubMed/Medline database was already questionable. With the assistance of several of my fellow university professors and doctors from Sarajevo I managed in little bit more than a year to edit 10 issues of the journal “Medical Archives” (2 issues in 1991, 2 issues in 1992, 2 issues in 1993 and 4 issues in 1994).
