COMMUNICATION BETWEEN FAMILY: THE ADDRESS SYSTEM OF ORANG ASLI CHE WONG

This study aims to look at the kindship address system terms of the main family family, extended family and also by the marriage relationship that is used by the Orang Asli Wong Che community when they communicate, especially those living in Kuala Gandah, Pahang. Informants for the data collection consisted of members of the Orang Asli Che Wong. The data are based on interviews and indirect observations of the informants in the community who are between the aged of 18 to 56 years old and above. Based on the results of the sreserach shows that in Orang Asli Che Wong community especially in the study area, there are various forms of the address system used when they communicate toaddress their family members. In addition to maintaining the traditional address system forms, they also have used the address system forms of the Malay community. It turned out that the young people have begun to change the traditional kindship address system forms to the new address system form as used by the local community. It is hoped that this research benefits society Che Aboriginal people in particular and can be preserved in the use and documentation of the address system.
