Perkembangan kajian hadis di Indonesia: Studi tokoh dan organisasi masyarakat islam

Research on hadith in Indonesia is said to be at its early stage of development. The existing literature on hadith studies and the number of academia and hadith scholars seem to prove this claim. The limited number of Islamic rulings, i.e. fatwa issued is another indicator. To discuss the issue the paper focus its attention on such aspects as research on hadith, publication of books and journals, scholars and experts on hadith as well their contribution to the development of studies. The focus is also on the Islamic organizations and legal authorities.
