Abstract :
Neuromuscular blocking agents (NMBAs) are one of the most commonly used classes of drugs in operating rooms and intensive care units (ICU). These agents are used to ensure muscle relaxation for periods of time ranging from a few minutes to a few days.1, 2 This review outlines the indications, classification, pharmacology, pharmacokinetics, adverse effects, complications, monitoring, blockade reversal, and criteria for selection.
