Abstract :
Instructional design provides a systematic design in order to get effective and productive results in the teaching-learning process. Until today, many instructional design models have been developed, and it has been seen that these models have been classified in different ways. In this study, instructional design models have been analyzed in three groups. These groups are classroom-oriented models, product-oriented models, and system-oriented models. In this study, commonly used instructional design models have been analyzed in each group, and 12 patterns have been compared totally according to their general features and design-applying process. This study will contribute to instructional designers in choosing the most relevant design model.
