THE EFFECT ON DISTRIBUTION UNIFORMITY OF SOME CONSTRUCTIONAL AND WORKING CHARACTERISTICS OF SOLID MANURE SPREADER

In this research, the effects on distribution uniformity of some constructional and working characteristics of solid manure spreader were investigated. The experiments were carried out at two different spreader drum which were horizontal and vertical, three different peripheral velocity (7, 11 and 16 m/s) of drum and three different feed rate (4, 6.5 and 9 kg/s). In addition, manure at two different humidity rate was used. The effects on distribution uniformity of independent variable (spreader type, manure, drum velocity and feed rate) were found significant (P 0.01). According to results; distribution uniformity was affected negatively depending on increasing feed rate and drum velocity. The distribution uniformity of horizontal drumed spreader is found better than vertical drumed spreaders. At the forward to backward operation type, for horizontal drumed spreader, G2T3q2 and G2T3q3 was found to be best combinations which would be selected.
