Abstract :
This research was conducted to determine the effect of different plant densities on yield and some yield components of Buckwheat (Fagopyrum esculentum Moench., (population) used different areas as human and animal feed etc.) in 2007-2008 under Konya ecological condition. The experiment was designed according to the “Randomized Complete Block Experimental Design” with three replication. Plant height, number of plants per square meter, plant weight, number of leaves per plant, stem diameter, number of main branches per plant, leaf rate, herba and seed yield per decare were determined. Maximum herba yield (1783.80 kg da^-1) was obtained from 20 cm row spacing and maximum seed yield (101.11 kg da^-1) was obtained from 40 cm row spacing in the first year.
