Abstract :
In this research, some pesticide residues which are widely used of stone fruits species which are plum (14 pieces), apricot (7 pieces), sweet cherry (9 pieces), nectarine (3 pieces), peach (10 pieces), sour cherry (3 pieces); nuts fruit species which are pistachio (2 pieces), almonds (11 pieces), nuts (11 pieces) and walnuts (23 pieces) samples were investigated which taken from local markets and wholesale markets in Konya City. Sample extraction was performed in Selcuk University Agricultural Faculty laboratories of both departments of Horticulture and Crop sciences, while LC-MS/MS Liquid Chromatography (HPLC) analysis were conducted in the Organic Agricultural Products and Residue Analysis Laboratory of Republic of Turkey Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs Izmir Province Control Laboratory. According the results, Amitraz was determined at 281.0 μg/kg level in an apricot sample that this value is about 6 times the limit value allowed according to Turkish Food Codex. Monocrotophos, which is completely prohibited, was determined as 26.0 μg/kg in a sample of a cherry, completely forbidden pesticide Chlorpyrifos was found as 5.0 μg/kg in a sour cherry sample. Chlorpyrifos pesticide residue was also determined at 929.0 μg/kg level in an peach sample that this value exceeds about 5 times the limit value given (200.0 μg/kg) in Turkish Food Codex. In some other samples the pesticides levels were found below tolerance value, while in the remaining samples there was no pesticides residue.
