Abstract :
This study has been performed to determine the effects of chemical [6-Benzyladenine (6-BA), Promalin (6-BA+GA4+7)] and mechanical applications on nursery threes belonging to Jersey Mac, Summer Red, Galaxy Gala, Granny Smith, Fuji and Braeburn apple grafted on the M9 clon rootstock on the dallanma of nursery tree in 2008. For this reason, aome cultural applications have been carried such as apple nursery tree grafted on M9 rootstock, branched stripping, leaf stripping and cutting the tip of seedlings when last nursery trees reached to 80 cm length. As chemical application, when last nursery trees have reached to 95 cm in length, 6-BA and Promalin have been applied on 20 cm of them from the top during 4 weeks with 1 week gap between each two weeks application. Measurements have been carried out in October-November, obtained results have been interpreted and statistically analysed. In this study, the longest nursery tree has been obtained from Braeburn type (124.28 cm) with Promalin application (124.24 cm). When the dimeters of nursery trees were studied, the largest dimeter of nursery tree has been obtained from application of Promalin (11.00 mm). In the study, the largest number of side arm have been obtained with 6-BA (3.72 item/nursery tree) application, the least number of side arm have been obtained with uç alma (0.47 item/nursery tree). The longest side arm has been notified on the control application (37.49 cm) followed by Promalin application (32.78 cm). In this work, the nursery trees with the largest angle of arms have been notified on the branched stripping (58.660) application while the nursery trees with the lowest angle of arms have been obtained with cutting the tip of seedlings (46.110) application. On the quality classification of nursery trees, when TSE dwarf tree standards are considered, % 100 of nursery trees have been classified to be thr first class.
