Abstract
The aim of this research was to determine the performances of edible pea genotypes in Antalya ecological conditions, to identify edible pea genotypes for the region also to determine these genotypes for seed yield and some agronomic characters. In this study, 18 pea genotypes (13 lines and 5 cultivars) were used as material. The experiment was arranged in the “Randomized Blocks” experimental design with three replications. According to the results of the research, statistically significant differences were found between genotypes with respect of all characters excepting protein yield. As the mean of genotypes of seed yield was 210.91 kg.da-1. The highest seed yield (264.67 kg.da-1) was obtained from 3048 genotype. As a results, genotypes (namely 3048, Ultrillo, 30100, 4053-A, 4053-B, 4021 and 3029-B) that were growing in terms of seed yield and some other agricultural characters were found to be the most suitable genotypes for further research on pea at Antalya ecological conditions.
