Abstract :
In today s environment with excessive urbanization, people and animals of needs which are natural habitats are disappearing at increasing rates. As a result of the rapid consumption of natural habitats, many species and human life are adversely affected. People can spend away from city life, albeit short-term reach of recreation, outdoor public spaces their free time, but they are insufficient in quality and quantity. People naturally spend time with the animals in an area which is one of the places zoos which understanding of the field is insufficiently planned and designed. However, animal exhibition spaces should be unlimited to be efficient, having spacious and impact for animal and human. In this study; with the concept of zoos will be referred to the planning and design principles, zoological and gardens objective type. Afterwards, the natural habitat park (safari park) concept will be examined. To sum up, wildlife park that is actually The typology of zoo in our country and this study will be explained how it differs.
