Determination of Forage Value of Different Sized Fruits of Forage Watermelon (Citrullus lanatus var. citroides)

One of the characteristics of the forage watermelon (Citrullus lanatus var. citroides) can be stored for a long time without spoiling. There is a relationship between quality and state of development in plants. In this research, average fruit weight 3748.01 g, kernel weight of fruit 154.46 g, NDF 44.50 %, NFC 28.30 %, ADF 35.95 % were obtained. Effects of different sized fruits of forage watermelon on forage value were different and effects of kernels of fruit on forage value were positive.
