Evaluation of Irrigation Performance in Gevrekli Irrigation Association

In this study, irrigation performance in Gevrekli Water User Association was evaluated. In this regard, data were collected from the 4th General Directorate of State Hydraulic Works, Turkish Statistical Organization as well 2008-2013 records of Gevrekli Water User Association. In evaluation of data, total 8 indi-cators relevant to the water distribution performance and production perfor-mance were examined. Following results were found: total water for unit land as 665 – 1.301 m³/ha, total water for irrigated unit land as 2.577 – 5.273 m³/ha and total water obtaining water ratio of 0.51-1.04, annual total agro-production value of 21.225.000 – 38.898.000 TL, net income obtained from unit irrigated area of 6.451.4 – 11501.8 TL/ha, gross income obtaining from the unit water transferred to the irrigation network of 1.474-3.814 TL/ha.
