Abstract :
The experiment was conducted in Selcuk University, Faculty of Agriculture, greenhouse of Department of Horticulture in 2014-2015 in order to determine the effects of salt stress on ungrafted MM106 and Golden cv grafted on MM106. Plants were exposed to salt stress in two ways; some plants were planted in growing media possessed salinity (at first, growing media were irrigated with NaCl solution until EC arrived 2.5-3.0 mS cm^-1) and other plants were planted in grow-ing media without salinity, then irrigated with 35 mM NaCl solution after the plants’ shoot length were 10 cm. Growing media’s salinity of plants exposed salt stress maintained in a range of 2.5-3.0 mS cm^-1 EC. End of the study, leaf tem-perature, membrane permeability. SPAD value, leaf relative water content and stomatal conductivity were determined. In the experiment after 1 and 4 months, the highest membrane stability was determined as 45.3 and 38.9. respectively in salted media plants. The highest stomatal conductivity value was determined in both plant group’s control as 322 and 268, respectively while the lowest value was in salted media plants as 123 and 138, respectively. After 1 and 4 months, the highest LRWC were obtained in control as 81.6 and 67.7. respectively. After 1 and 4 months, the highest SPAD value was determined control (59.3 and 48.6. respectively) while the lowest SPAD was in salted media plants as 32.6 and 41.7.
