Abstract :
This study aims to reveal that whether ethical climate assessments and the intentions of bank employees to leave the job change according to the enforced mobbing behaviour or not. Three hypotheses are formulated for this purpose. The employees of two private banks which operate in the centre of Konya province and have the most branches, were included in the study. The first of the bank has 19 branches and the other has 17 branches in the central districts of Konya province. The total number of office employees in those branches is 272. The questionnaire was distributed to all employees. However, the number of returned questionnaires is 194. The questionnaire return rate is %68. The demographic characteristics of the participants are determined by descriptive statistics. To test the reliability of the scales used in the study, matter-whole correlation has been identified, Cronbach s Alpha parameters have been calculated and exploratory factor analysis has been performed. Moreover, in order to determine the relationships between variables, it has been benefited from the correlation analysis and confirmatory factor analysis and to test the accuracy of the model created in the last, it has been benefited from YEM. When correlation analysis results are analyzed, it has been seen that each subscales of mobbing has a positive correlation with each other. When the correlation between mobbing subscales and ethical climate is analyzed, negative and low correlation have been found. When the correlation between mobbing subscales and intention to leave the job is observed, a positive correlation is the case. As far as the correlation between ethical climate and intention to leave the job is concerned, there is a negative correlation. The hypotheses have been accepted in accordance with the measurement model in which confirmatory factor analysis has been conducted and conformity goodness values are within the required limit values. To sum up, it has been observed that there is a negative correlation between ethical climate concept and intention to leave the job, a positive correlation between mobbing and intention to leave the job, a negative correlation between mobbing and ethical climate concept.
