Abstract :
The main purpose of this research is to examine the interaction between mother attitudes and social problem solving skills of preschool age children. The population of the work consists of the mothers of 60-72 month old children going to pre-school institutions in Selcuklu, Meram and Karatay districts of Konya. This study consists of a total of 500 children, 249 female and 251 male, and their mothers. Family Information Form, Parental Attitude Scale and Wally Social Problem Solving Test were used. In the analysis of the data Anova test was used. As a result of the research, it was concluded that the mother attitudes do not have an effect on children s social problem solving skills.
