Abstract :
The Ghaznavid State became a government depend on Seljuk State when the Khorasan Malik of the Seljuks, Sanjar, entered to the Ghazni with a crowded army on 20 August 510/28 December. The nephew of Sanjar and the twentieth sultan of the Ghazna State, Bahram Shah b. Mas’ud b. Abraham b. Mas’ud b. Mahmud b. Sabuktigin was born in Ghazna in 476/1084. His father III Mas’ud b. Abraham who were the qualities such as loyal, fair and justice in reality was married to the daughter of the Seljuk Sultan Malikshah and Sanjar s sister, Mahd-i Iraq nicknamed Shah Gavhar Khatun. From their married was born in Bahram Shah. III. Mas’ud who was continued in cooperation with the Seljuks his reign of seventeen years was died on 508/1115. Son of his, Sirzad, was rule in a year following his died. Later, his brother, Arslan Shah known as Ebü l-Mülûk, was sit on the throne of Ghazni. Since he was a passionate sultan, Arslan Shah who has a fair and courageous personality be began to imprison his brothers to rule the state alone. Then his half-brother Bahram Shah fled to Khorasan and Arslan Shah, his older brother complained to his uncle Malik Sanjar. Sanjar sent ambassador to relieve the tension between the brothers and was not get any result. After a while, the stepmother of Sultan Arslan Shah was hear the news that Sanjar’s had been ill treatad to his sister Mahd-i Irak Shah Gavhar. When he increase its complaints, be entered to Ghazni with a crowded army on 20 Shavval 510/28 December 1116 and stayed in Ghazni during forty days. When he ensured its calm in city was leaved from Gazne by oblige to paying 250 thousand dinars annual tax the Sultan Behram Shah’s. With leaving from Ghazni of Sanjar, before along, the Sultan Behram Shah was refused to send the tax that his was obliged to pay by dreaming independently. But the independence of Ghazni was not last long. He was captured in city by entered to Ghazni with a crowded army. By forgive of Sanjar, Bahram Shah, was took the throne of Ghaznavids, still with the support of Sultan Sanjar, reigned for about half a century. He died in 552/1157 before he was able to recover from the disestablishing state order, when he was defeated against to Gûrlus in 545/1150.
