Loss of postural toneis a sine qua none. In a case of transient loss ofconsiousness, syncope, epilepsy, psychogenicfaintings need to be differentiated. In this reviewdiagnosis, differential diagnosis, and treatmentissues of syncope will be discussed from a stand-point of neurologists.
