Abstract :
In this study, we research some of the properties of concrete specially carbonation in those concretes which were reinforced by fly ash and fiber steel. Instead of cement, fly ash to the ratio of 0%, 10%, 20%, and 30% and fiber steel by the amount of 1% of the whole concrete’s weight are added to the whole concrete. The size of fiber steel is 30 mm in length and 30% mm in diameter. Tests were performed for concrete properties: unit weight, workability, compressive strength, modulus elasticity, flexural strength, toughness, spletting tensile strength, abrasion, capillary water absorption, ultrasonic velocity and carbonation. The ratio of fly ash does not affect toughness but fiber steel has a lot of on effects toughness. Fly ash and fiber steel have positive effect on carbonation.
