Abstract :
Recycling and reuse of economic value materials is very important in order to benefit from natural resources at maximum level. In this study, it is aimed to provide recycling of glass fiber reinforced concrete (GRC) wastes as cement substitute material. On cement mortar samples produced with 0% (Reference), 5%, 10% and 15% by weight of ground GRC wastes; compressive strength, bending strength, heating-rain and freeze-thaw experiments were carried out in addition to fresh mortar tests. As a result of the experimental studies, it has been determined that re-use of 5% ground adding GRC waste into mortar will contribute positively to environment.
