Abstract :
The drug 5-fluorouracil (5-FU) is a pyrimidine antagonist used for chemotherapy. Cardiotoxicity is a rare side effect of this compound (1). We present two cases of 5-FU cardiotoxicity, because every cardiolo- gist has to be aware of the possible clinical presentations and its man- agement as it can be life threatening.
