Abstract :
Physical classroom environment is an important element in creating an environment conducive to learning and encouraging. Conducive environment to help create teaching and learning facilities while maintaining focus and interest in learning in the classroom. Therefore, this study was performed to determine the relationship between the physical aspects of classroom teaching and learning facilities . The study involved 916 high school students in the state of Malacca. Physical aspects of the learning environment is determined using the Physical Classroom Environment Inventory (IPFBD) while teaching and learning facilities is determined using Comfort Scale Teaching and Learning (SKPP) . Analysis results show that the learning space, furniture, ventilation and lighting in the classroom has a moderate level of fitness. Comfort teaching and learning in the classroom is also moderate. Further analysis showed the influence of the physical environment in the classroom for the comfort level of teaching and learning. Thus, the physical classroom environment should be given due attention and carefully planned as physical classroom environment can influence the appropriate learning environment, generation of ideas, values, attitudes and behavior of students .
