Abstract :
The development of an optimized effective industrial air pollution control system requires the consideration of a wide range of engineering, environmental and economic factors. Experience and broad capabilities contribute to the ability to design effective air pollution control systems. Environmental awareness involves far more than merely complying with environmental laws and regulations. Environmental responsibility transfers today s exciting visions into tomorrow s reality. This paper gives an overview of commonly known and effective wet and dry industrial air pollution technologies that have been successfully designed applied and proven in industrial usage. It also provides the necessary air pollution engineering background knowledge for the selection of the proper air pollution solution in various industry applications. In general, it is essential to rectify all the potential problems before the construction of any air pollution control system. Otherwise, the equipment investment may turn out to be useless and just create a burden for its owner
