KAJIAN TERHADAP SAMBUTAN MAWLIDUR RASUL ANJURAN HABIB AHMAD ISMAIL DI SINGAPURA SERTA PENGARUHNYA TERHADAP GOLONGAN BUKAN ISLAM

This paper researches on the biggest celebrated Mawlidur Rasul in Singapore by Habib Ahmad Ismail. This celebration has become well known in Singapore because of its guests attendance up to 10,000 each time it is organized. However what makes it unique and difference from others celebration is in this celebration, all spectrum of societies are invited regardless of races or religions. The celebration consists of cultural performances and this has been celebration also out of the Mawlid,s month. This uniqueness is well received from Muslim and non Muslim however it has also received negative comments and accusations in the way it is celebrated that is out of the Islamic teachings. The writer in this paper tries to analyses the way the celebration is celebrated in Shariah perspective by applying Usul Fiqh. By the end of this paper, several impact arising from Mawlid organized by Habib Ahmad to the non Muslim attended the celebration.
