Abstract
In this paper, continued fraction expansion of the errorfunction is developed. An efficient and simple computational algorithmbased on this expansion is also developed using top-downevaluation procedure. Numerical results of the algorithm are in fullagreement at least to fifteen digits accuracy with that of the standard tables.
