Abstract :
Advancement in information and communication technologies (ICTs), particularly the rapid changes in mobile technologies have led to development of new applications and services. Leveraging on mobile devices, mobile government (m-government) can be a powerful component of e-government by enhancing and providing more services for citizens. Therefore, it is important to investigate the factors that influence the intention to use m-government services among Malaysians. This study proposed an acceptance model using constructs from the technology acceptance model (TAM), theory of reasoned action (TRA), unified theory of acceptance and use of technology (UTAUT) and trust model. A total of 566 respondents were surveyed using structured questionnaire. Results of the study proved that the proposed model is comprehensive for studying the acceptance of m-government services.
