Abstract :
Marrubium and Ballota are known to be important medicinal plants belonging to the
Lamiaceae family. Their aerial parts have been widely used in traditional medicine. The
present study, for the first time, aimed to investigate flavonoid constituents and
chromatographic pattern of the methanolic extract of leaf from Marrubium and Ballota
species. The technique was performed on High Performance Liquid Chromatography
(HPLC)-Micromass Quattro micro Atmospheric Pressure Ionization (API) Mass
Spectrometer in six taxa. A total of 59 chemical compounds were recognized, among
which 49 flavonoids, three polyphenols, and one methoxyphenol were identified. In
addition, five chemical groups were recognized in Marrubium and Ballota species. It is
noteworthy that Marrubium and Ballota species provide a major source of apigenin,
kaempferol, and quercetin glycosides. The flavonoid compounds, such as licoricidin,
sophoraflavanone G, and methyl robustone were highly frequent considering qualitative
markers for the genus Marrubium. Despite the striking similarity between Marrubium
and Ballota species, they were accurately separated using chemical markers, particularly
the mass (MS/MS) spectra of flavonoid compounds, which can develop the functional
products and pharmaceutical, chemotaxonomic, and chemo diversity purposes for
Marrubium and Ballota genera.

ﻣﺎروﺑﻴﻮم و ﺑﻠﻮﺗﺎ ﻣﺘﻌﻠﻖ ﺑﻪ ﺗﻴﺮه ﻻﻣﻴﺎﺳﻪ، ﺑﻪ ﻋﻨﻮان ﮔﻴﺎﻫﺎن داروﻳﻲ ﻣﻬﻤﻲ ﺷﻨﺎﺧﺘﻪ ﻣﻲ ﺷﻮﻧﺪ. ﺑﺨﺶ ﻫـﺎي ﻫـﻮاﻳﻲ آﻧﻬﺎ ﺑﻪ ﻃﻮر ﮔﺴﺘﺮده اي در ﻃﺐ ﺳﻨﺘﻲ اﺳﺘﻔﺎده ﺷﺪه اﺳﺖ. ﻣﻄﺎﻟﻌﻪ ﺣﺎﺿﺮ، ﺑﺎ ﻫﺪف ﺑﺮرﺳـﻲ ﺗﺮﻛﻴﺒـﺎت ﻓﻼوﻧﻮﺋﻴـﺪي و اﻟﮕﻮي ﻛﺮوﻣﺎﺗﻮﮔﺮاﻓﻲ ﻋﺼﺎره ﻣﺘﺎﻧﻮﻟﻲ از ﺑﺮگ ﮔﻮﻧـﻪ ﻫـﺎي ﻣـﺎروﺑﻴﻮم و ﺑﻠﻮﺗـﺎ ، ﺑـﺮاي اوﻟـﻴﻦ ﺑـﺎر اﻧﺠـﺎم ﺷـﺪ. روش ﻛﺮوﻣﺎﺗﻮﮔﺮاﻓﻲ ﻣﺎﻳﻊ ﺑﺎ ﻛﺎراﻳﻲ ﺑﺎﻻ-ﻃﻴﻒ ﺳﻨﺞ ﺟﺮﻣﻲ در ﺷﺶ ﺗﺎﻛﺴﻮن اﻧﺠﺎم ﮔﺮﻓﺖ. در ﻣﺠﻤﻮع، 59 ﺗﺮﻛﻴﺐ ﺷـﻴﻤﻴﺎﻳﻲ ﺗﺸﺨﻴﺺ داده ﺷﺪﻧﺪ ﻛﻪ از ﻣﻴﺎن آﻧﻬﺎ 49 ﻓﻼوﻧﻮﺋﻴﺪ، 3 ﭘﻠﻲ ﻓﻨﻮل، و ﻳﻚ ﻣﺘﻮﻛﺴﻲ ﻓﻨﻮل ﺷﻨﺎﺳﺎﻳﻲ ﮔﺮدﻳﺪ. ﻋﻼوه ﺑـﺮاﻳﻦ،5 ﮔﺮوه ﺷﻴﻤﻴﺎﻳﻲ در ﮔﻮﻧﻪ ﻫﺎي ﻣﺎروﺑﻴﻮم و ﺑﻠﻮﺗﺎ ﺗﺸﺨﻴﺺ داده ﺷﺪﻧﺪ. ﻗﺎﺑﻞ ﺗﻮﺟﻪ اﺳﺖ ﻛـﻪ ﮔﻮﻧـﻪ ﻫـﺎي ﻣـﺎروﺑﻴﻮم و ﺑﻠﻮﺗــﺎ ﻣﻨﺒــﻊ ﻋﻤــﺪه اي از آﭘــﻲ ژﻧــﻴﻦ، ﻛﻤﭙﻔــﺮول، و ﻛﻮﺋﺮﺳــﺘﻴﻦ ﮔﻠﻴﻜﻮزﻳــﺪﻫﺎ ﻫﺴــﺘﻨﺪ. ﺗﺮﻛﻴﺒــﺎت ﻓﻼوﻧﻮﺋﻴــﺪي ﻧﻈﻴــﺮ ﻟﻴﻜﻮرﻳﺴﻴﺪﻳﻦ، ﺳﻮﻓﻮروﻓﻼواﻧﻮن ﺟﻲ، و ﻣﺘﻴﻞ روﺑﻮﺳﺘﻮن ﻓﺮاواﻧﻲ ﺑﺎﻻﻳﻲ داﺷﺘﻨﺪ ﻛـﻪ ﺑـﻪ ﻋﻨـﻮان ﻧﺸـﺎﻧﮕﺮﻫﺎي ﻛﻴﻔـﻲ ﺑﺮاي ﺟﻨﺲ ﻣﺎروﺑﻴﻮم در ﻧﻈﺮ ﮔﺮﻓﺘﻪ ﺷﺪﻧﺪ. ﻋﻠﻴﺮﻏﻢ ﺷﺒﺎﻫﺖ ﻗﺎﺑﻞ ﺗﻮﺟﻪ ﺑﻴﻦ ﮔﻮﻧﻪ ﻫﺎي ﻣﺎروﺑﻴﻮم و ﺑﻠﻮﺗﺎ، اﻳﻦ ﮔﻮﻧـﻪ ﻫـﺎ ﺑﺎ اﺳﺘﻔﺎده از ﻧﺸﺎﻧﮕﺮﻫﺎي ﺷﻴﻤﻴﺎﻳﻲ، ﺑﻪ وﻳﮋه ﻃﻴﻒ ﺳﻨﺠﻲ ﺟﺮﻣﻲ ﺗﺮﻛﻴﺒﺎت ﻓﻼوﻧﻮﺋﻴﺪي، ﺑﻪ دﻗﺖ ﻣﺠﺰا ﺷﺪﻧﺪ و اﻳﻦ اﻣﺮ ﻣﻲ ﺗﻮاﻧﺪ ﻣﺤﺼﻮﻻت ﻛﺎرﺑﺮدي و داروﻳﻲ، و اﻫﺪاف ﻛﻤﻮﺗﺎﻛﺴﻮﻧﻮﻣﻴﻜﻲ و ﺗﻨﻮع ﺷﻴﻤﻴﺎﻳﻲ را در ﺟﻨﺲ ﻫـﺎي ﻣـﺎروﺑﻴﻮم و ﺑﻠﻮﺗﺎ ﺗﻮﺳﻌﻪ دﻫﺪ.
