Abstract :
Rectal foreign bodies are an increasingly common problem. It is essential for the surgeon to know how to deal with this presentation and the various approaches for retrieval. We present a rare case of a rectal foreign body without peritonitis successfully retrieved transanally. The post-removal course was uneventful.
