Abstract
Rectal foreign bodies are an increasingly common problem. It is essential for the surgeon to know how to deal
with this presentation and the various approaches for retrieval. We present a rare case of a rectal foreign body
without peritonitis successfully retrieved transanally. The post-removal course was uneventful.
