Abstract :
Systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE) is a multi-systemic autoimmune disease associated with significant morbidity and mortality in both adults1 and children2,3. Compared to adults, paediatric SLE patients have an increased incidence (up to 82%) and severity of lupus nephritis (LN)4,5, which determines both the renal and overall prognosis6.
