Abstract :
A novel procedure is investigated for the preparation of benzazepine derivatives using multicomponent reaction of imidazole, alkyl bromides, isatoic anhydride or its derivatives and activated acetylenic compounds in the presence of KF/Clinoptilolite nanoparticles as catalyst in water at room temperature. Some advantages of this procedure are: short time of reaction, high yields of product, easy separation of catalyst and products. KF/CP NPs show a good improvement in the yield of the product and displayed significant reusable activity
