The nurses at Karadeniz Techninical University Farabi Hospital constitutes the central of the study at 2008. In this study the survey of organizational citizenship behaviour which was developed by Konovsky ve Organ (1996) is used. The statistical analysis of the data and the five dimensions that define the organizational citizenship behaviour follow as; altruism, courtesy, conscientiousness, civic virtue and sportsmanship. It was determined that the age-related variation creates statistical distinction. As to the reflecting of these behaviours, it was determined that nurses working at the hospital between 6-10 years has a more tendency to reflect the behaviours. Another finding is that there is a statistical difference between the varient of the working hours of the duty and the dimension of curtesy and civic virtue. Accordingly, for the behaviours at the curtesy dimension the nurses working for five or less years and for the behaviours at the civic virtue dimension the nurses working for 11 or more years have a more tendency to reflect the behaviours. Another difference was found out between the dimensions of martial status and alturism, curtesy and civic virtue. It was also found out that married nurses have a tendency to reflect behaviours at the dimensions of alturism and civic virtue; and the divorced or widowed nurses have a more tendency to reflect the behaviours at the civic virtue dimension. Another statistical difference was found out between the varient of educational background and the dimensions of alturism and civic virtue. For the behaviours at both dimension it was determined that high school graduate nurses are more likely to reflect the behaviours than the college graduate nurses.
