Abstract :
Introduction oF isopmpyl substituonts to 2 and 2ʹ positions of benzothiophene rings of bis(l-benzothiophen-3yl)hexa-fluorocyclopentene increased the population of antiparallel conformation, and enhanced the quantum yield of the cyclization reaction.
