Abstract :
The chemiluminescence (Cl.) arising from the reaction of bis (2,4,6-Lrichlorophenyl)oxalateI (TCPO) with hydrogen peroxide in the presence of halogenated derivatives of fluoresceinI has been studied. The CL characteristics of some different fluorescein derivatives were studied In detail. The fluorescence and CL spectra were compared. The fluorescein halogenated derivatives used were found to act as yellow-orange fluorescers (F) in the TCPO chemiluminescence reaction .The intensity and kinetic parameters for chemiluminescent system were investigated as concentration dependence of fluoresccr, hydrogen peroxide, studied In detail. The fluorescence and CL spectra were compared. The fluorescein halogenated derivatives used were found to act as yellow-orange fluorescers (F) in the TVPO and sodium salycilate as a catalyst and they were evaluated from the computer fittingof the corresponding chemilumin escence intensity-time plots. The yellow-orange lightproduced in the presence or thefluorescers is a result of indirect CL.
