Abstract :
Malay Folklore heritage is owned by the Malays who delivered orally. Thus, the oral tradition of the Malay familiar with the practice of Islamic values among the community and in accordance with Islamic law. Now, most people thought the oral Malay is the work do not have science, fiction, dull, ignorant and have no Islamic values that can build the character and morals of men. Therefore, the appropriate assessment is carried out to deflect the perception of poor communities to ensure Malay oral story can be seen as a work of quality and to be fought in the academic world in order to become a place of knowledge to the people. Hence, this study aims to identify and analyze the values in Malay oral stories. So, Collection 366 Malaysian Folklore. The text is maintained by Zainariah Abdul Wahab, Nur Syafiqa Yusof Fatimah Abdul Nasir and published by Edukid Publication Sdn. Bhd in 2017 was used as the main subject. In addition, the application of works and audience approaches contained in Takmilah Theory is used as a deductive study to strengthen the analysis and findings of the study. In addition, the design of this study is qualitative by using library and text methods. Thus, this study proves to the public on the findings of the values of Islam in the Malay oral folklore that the purpose of educating the community to become more moral and noble soul.
