Abstract :
This paper provides the results of a simulation study in order to enhance productivity through the improvement of flexibility performance and time efficiency in manufacturing company. A composite aero manufacturing company was selected as a case study. From two simulation analysis using ARENA software, both flexibility performance and time efficiency have potential to improve productivity and reduce cost. It proves that the flexible resource management including logistics can help raise productivity improvements. The study also found that the computer simulation can provide individual or group work to assess the improvement alternatives more effective.
