Abstract :
It is our utmost pleasure to introduce this special issue of Scientia Iranica to our readers, specifically dedicated to the lifelong achievements of Professor Zadeh. Professor Lotfi Asker Zadeh was born on February 4,1921, in Russia, to an Iranian journalist father, Rahim Askerzadeh, from Ardebil, and a Russian pediatric mother, Dr. Fanya Koriman.
