Patients received either oral dydrogesterone or progesterone injected intramuscularly, respectively. The clinical efficacy and safety of both drugs were observed. Results: There were no significant differences in age, gravidity, parity and gestational age between the two groups (p 0.05) and there was no significant difference in progesterone levels following treatment (p 0.05). There were no significant differences in the success rate of fetus protection, abortion rate and treatment time between the groups (p 0.05). Conclusion: Dydrogesterone and progesterone have significant beneficial effects in the treatment of threatened abortion, and they are easy to use and safe.
